I've just realized, my own special day is just around the corner. I'm not exactly looking forward to it. I'm at the point where those days meant you're a year older. Though I don't FEEL any older. *denial*
I went to have dinner with my family. As usual, we couldn't make up our minds on where to eat! and this always lead to bad attitudes and arguments.
Initially, we wanted to have barbecued chicken in Milennium. But, sadly, they ran out of effing chicken! So, we just did some shopping at SupaSave instead.
Then, mom said she feels like eating arabic food. So, Sugar and Spice was the answer. Sadly again, they were closed.
And that was where all the negativity started. Mom can't decide. Dad relied too much on mom. As for me, I decided to ignore them and sit quietly and start building an imaginary brick wall to block them out.
Cut story short, we ended up with Soto.

Hahaha..anyway, I'm just waiting to pick my love up from the airport. I was trying to sleep but somehow, I couldn't so, I decided to write.

Piak is away on another Singapore flight. The TV is showing the angels and demons movie. My cat is rubbing his head against my leg asking for attention. My dad is trying not to fall asleep watching the movie. And finally, my mum is reading the papers with whatever light is left of the day(the lights are off to let my dad sleep).
Well, those are things in the present.
What happened in the past? I picked up Piak from his afternoon Singapore flight and we went straight to the saloon. Shahdon's Icon. Piak's all time favorite saloon. I would usually tag along. But that night, I had a n overdue hair cut. So, I asked for a quick wash and an equally quick haircut. And this is what I ended up with. Which, I kinda like. I think the last time I had this kind of haircut was when I was 10.
My dad calls me "barbie doll" and mum, "china doll" and others, "a 5 year old."
Anyway, after the haircut, we went to join Piak's family having "L" at aminah Arif. So I think the name was. Hahaha. I'm really bad with names anyway. And then, we went to the Masjid Omar Ali Saifuddien.
As for today, we had brunch at the Emperor's court. DimSum, Baby!
And that's where the highlight of my day happened. I slipped and fell on my left knee. And worse of all, all the stuff in my bag went flying out and landed over the floor. I was walking slightly fast to catch up with Piak who's late for work. I don't blame him. I was the one who stepped on the SMALL puddle of water. Or so I thought there were. It might actually be an imaginary puddle of water. Hahah. My left knee hurt so badly and I nearly cried. But I kept my composure and got up and walk like nothing happened. I know for a fact, people saw me. Not just one, maybe 5 or 6. But thank god, that was it.
After dropping Piak of to work, my parents and I went to Empire cineplex to watch Christmas Carol. It was a really nice movie. I really liked the graphics! It was awesome! Right after that, we went to The Mall and had ICECREAM at swensens. There goes my diet! Well, I should rightfully say, there goes trying to START a diet! hahah! I really couldn't be bothered. I feel alright. I could last (and WIN) 5 badminton games and I think that kind of stamina is good enough for me. Haha.
We then went to ChongHock to get some movies but I failed to find any nice ones. Mom bought a few. So did dad. He bought animes!
On the way back, we went to Pasar Gadong and got ourselves banana fritters and ABC! for snack!
So, I thought to myself, "I'll start my diet tomorrow." or the day after!
So, here I am. In the room, writing to you! We'll be going out for dinner soon. Hahah. I'll try not to order anything too heavy. Hahah! So I'd say now.
Well, I better go!

I went to Miri yesterday. Piak brought me along. We went just to pick his aunts at the airport from KL. And straight home we went.
The night before, I've decided to have a really close look at the moon. My dad has this telescope where you can see all the grooves on the moon. Like pimples! Hahah. It took me a while to get use to it, the telescope, i mean. But in the end, I did it. It was awesome.
So, anyway, after the Miri trip, I had my Singapore flight. And I was lacking sleep. I can hardly open my eyes even in the afternoon, what more a flight till midnight! But I survived. Barely. I really wanted to have a walk around the terminal but, I was too tired and I don't fancy a run. I know I didn't have the time.
As for today, I don't have anything planned. Piak is away on a flight to Singapore too. He'll be back in the evening and I'll go and have a haircut with him after that. He was supposed to do Bangkok but he swapped it with another person just to do a flight with his friends on it. " Whatever tickles him" I'd say. He have his plans, and I'll make mine.
You know, after I sent Piak to the airport, a car was following me closely from behind. A little too close. And I noticed there were children in the back seat jumping around. I admit, I'm a very dangerous driver. I think that's what keeps me sane. I let go of it all when I drive. I'm in my own world. But I drive alone. No danger to anyone on board. And I signal generously. Never been in an accident. So, the guy following me a little too closely was driving dangerously. I was upset about it. But I got over it quickly.
I'm thinking about going to the gym. Should I or should I not. I am really tired but I don't think I can just sit down and do nothing. I just want to go out of this room. I might just go to ChongHock and get DVDs to watch. Whatever.

Finally, two days OFF!! I've never looked forward to an off day before. I like my job. I enjoy it. But today, I didn't have such a good day. It was only Kuching and KK flight but somehow or rather, the 20 minutes flight felt longer than a flight to Singapore! It was horrible. Well, i blame it on me being tired! And not having enough sleep at night.
Anyway, enough of that! At the moment, i hate work and I want my off days! hahah!
Piak's away to Surabaya and will be back tomorrow morning.
I'm out of things to watch! no more series! Nothing in YouTube! So, I've resorted to wathing movies I bought at least a year ago! ahaha... Atu buring! Kerja salah, tak kerja salah!
Well, things will turn out for the best. I've got badminton tomorrow and will be watching the boys play football. and tomorrow is the 25th! Some of you might not know what it means, but it means, payday! ahhaha!

Here I am again, after another flight. A flight far more interesting than the ones before. A flight that usually brings me back home in less than 3 hours, took longer than what we bargained for. Sigh. Rain. You were not very friendly today.
We attempted the approach even though we receive information that there were already a couple of aircraft going around and unable to see the runway to land. As a result, we joined those other aircraft. We were holding here and there and everywhere! We pretty much wasted about a ton of fuel! Well, it cant be helped.
Other than that, everything was as planned.
I only ended up with a bad headache, and an empty stomach as the flight was too short for real food. Not too bad. Hahahha.
As for my sister, here's a picture of the kittens i want to show you. I can't remember if you've seen it or not.
These are the kittens in KB. A brown-ish Black cat gave birth to them. We suspect the father was Si-Bell. A yellow-ish white cat. But the kittens are no longer with us. Mum gave them away, as usual.
And here are the kittens we have downstairs in Bandar.
The mother is exactly the same color as the kittens. Stripe-ish grey. hahah.

For the past few days, I've been very busy working my ass off. And the weather was not helping. It's been raining each time I wanted to land back in Brunei. It's been very exciting. With all the rain and thunder and lightning! The people at the back might not know how exciting it all was. We were trying to avoid all the very bad bumpy weather, racing to land before it rains too heavy for us to see out, and wanting to go home.
I'm glad I'm having my days off for today and tomorrow for me to recover. Well, I did enjoy my flights. It was fun.
I took this picture of Chilapek a few days ago. He's the cutest kitten I know. He loves to eat and bite! Hahah.
I'll be playing badminton with the boys this afternoon in a few hours. And Piak will join us after he comes back from work. And now I'm bored.
My next flight is two days from now to Bangkok. I've a pretty busy schedule coming up and I'm not sure I'm too happy about it.

Sent Piak to Surabaya. And now, I'm so bored I don't know what to do.
Didn't do much yesterday.
As for today, I woke up at 10, got ready and Piak brought me to the office. We were there for a couple of minutes and went out for lunch and had sushi.
We then went to JackHan for me to get my mattress and they promised it be sent here to my room by tomorrow.
Yay!
Can't wait for tomorrow so I can pick up my love, have my really super comfy mattress, and WORK! hahah..I'll be off to Kuala Lumpur after a very long time. I'm not sure I'm excited of not.
After about 5 days of not working, it's hard getting back in the mood of working. But I'm going to have a very busy week starting tomorrow.
Sigh. This is so sad. I don't have much to write. Oh well, I think I'll have something by tomorrow. Or not!

Since the last time I wrote here, I updated my phone, and failed very badly. Instead of being happy with myself with finally updating my phone again, im really upset and all stressed out. My phone is now not working and there's something wrong with it. It only showed " error 205, reset"on a really bright litted screen. URGH!!! I hate my phone for not working well! And most of all, I hate me! WHy the hell did I decide to update it now? sigh.
FInally, I reverted back to my old pink motorolla phone I bought while I was studying in UK. Well, at least I have a phone to contact my love in Perth. I hate my current situation sooo much!
I have a couple of choices to do. Look for the CD I had with the phone when I bought it and start over, or, send it to a shop to have a look at it and pay for it, or, just buy a new phone. If I can find the CD, I can basically follow the insructions online that I found this afternoon, and not pay for anything. But the thing is, I cant find the CD and I'm very much stressing over it. Piak told me to chill and sit back and wait for him to come back. And that's what I'm doing. Sit back, write on my blog and try to relax. I might try and sleep soon.
Hope tomorrow comes quickly and I'll go and pick up my love on from his flight. Oh, did I mention, Im on a 4 day OFF! Today's the 2nd day, if Im not mistaken. I lost count. hahah.

I'm back in KB. Piak is on his way to Perth. HE'll be back tomorrow. I miss him already. ahaha.
Well, what have we been up to the past few days? Did my Singapore flight and had a very interesting approach in Singapore. It was raining sooo heavily that we can only see the ground about 5 second before we touchdown. haha. But surprising enough, the runway was dry. The rain was just on it's way. It was very interesting. But on the way back to Brunei, it was just a normal flight. Nothing else happened.
I got back to my room in Beribi and the next day, Piak brought me back to his house in Kampong Ayer. Before that, we stopped by SupaSave and bought some ingredients for burger. We actually brought Chupap, our white Persian cat along and put him in the trolley. We were hoping nobody would notice but unfortunately, we failed badly. ahah.
It was only that day that we both realised that a kilo of mince beef is $9.50. Hahah. Well, we bought nearly 3 kilos.
Once we got to Piak's house, we started making our burger.
MEGA BURGER
Mince Beef, onion, garlic, bbq sauce, seasoning, pepper, parsley.
Bread, tomato, and cucumber.
We did it and chilled the burger. Spent part of the afternoon asleep and around 4, we went to RBRC (Royal Brunei Receational Club) to play badminton. It was just me, Piak, Piak's elder brother and his gf and mirul(Piak's 12 year old brother). Played a game and Piak wanted to pplay single game with his elder brother so me and Mirul went to the gym to cycle. Haha. Can hardly do 10 minutes. Finally I stopped and went out to watch Piak play badminton.
We decided to go home about 7.20pm and it was raining VERY heavily and we decided not to wait for the rain to subside. BAD idea. I was soaking wet once I got to the car. Oh well, I dont really mind. It was fun.
Only got back home in Piak's house about 8 and we cooked our burger.
IT WAS AWESOMEEEEEE!! I loved it. It was yummy! Hahaha...
The next day, we spent the morning watching TV and I got a call to tell me I have a meeting with my house developer at about 3 pm.
After the meeting, we went to have a look at furnitures and lightings and all that for my house. It will be done in about 3 months time if it goues according to plan. I sure hope it does. and they might be planning to make my house the sample house for show. Which, I really dont mind.
We went to Swenson for dinner and Chong Hock to get a few movies. And Piak found the movie he wanted to watch, Paranormal activities i think it was called. So, we wacthed it once we got to my room.
By the end of the night, when the movie was finished, I decided that that was the most regretfull thing I've ever done. I should have NEVER watched it! NEVER! Because of the movie, I was not able to sleep the whole night! The fricking WHOLE night!
So finally, morning came and I sent Piak off to Perth. and here I am, missing him.
I just made burger for lunch. and my family sure enjoyed it.
And oh, i just told my parents to watch the movie in their room. Hahahaha.. Hope they enjoy THAT.
I sure am going to sleep with my mom tonight. Hahahaha..

I just got back from KB. Woke up about 7am and sent Piak to the airport for his HongKong flight. At the moment, I'm just waiting for the time for me to go to work. To Singapore at 5.55pm. Sigh. I feel so lazy!
Anyway, yesterday was uneventful. Got home by 1 am and went straight to bed. woke up about 8.30 and had breakfast. Curry chicken with rice. Well, Piak had that, I didnt really eat anything. Just didnt feel like it.I wanted fish. So mummy dug out some fish from her freezer and both of the fish she got turned out bad. Finally, for dinner, we ate at MatPasar for some grilled fish and Ambuyat and some veges.
At the moment, I'm just watching Royal Pains. It's not bad. Haha. Actually, I'm a little addicted, I must admit.
Mummy cooked Pari masak asam pedas yesterday and we had it for breakfast this morning. I bet my sister would love some of it since she's away for so long. But fear not, she'll be back in less than a year.
I think I'm going to have a nap before work. I went to bed only around 11pm last night just to finish a book I was currently reading. Can't help it. I was in the good part. Haha.
Anyway, off I go for the mean time. Will be back as soon as I can.

Been pretty busy with work this few days. But it's alright. Can't remember the last time I worked this hard. Haha. Did Bangkok flight on Friday and went to Perth on Saturday.
The flight to perth wasn't so bad. I had to sit in business class of the boeing plane for nearly 5 hours, watched movies had lunch and a short nap. It was interesting as I was able to sit in the cockpit for the take off. For the first time! It just assures me, I like the airbuses that I fly better.
Went off the plane in Perth and while I was chit-chatting with my captain, the ground staff walked towards me and gave me a clear bag. *sigh* I left my camera next to my seat in the plane, and she came to give it back to me. Haha. I try my best all the time to "look back" just in case I leave anything. And still, I left my camera in the plane, left my phone once on the bus, and my passport in my room after check-out. Yes, these things happen to me whenever I go to Perth. Thankfully, things tend to return to me.
Anyway, got to my very comfy room on the top floor of Hilton Perth, and trying so hard to get my but off the bed and go to the gym. Finally, I did it, got on the cycling thing but only lasted for about 10 minutes. Damn headache. Finally, got back to the room and ordered room service. The seasonal vegetables were awesome! I loved it. Will definitely order them again the next time I'm in Perth.
Just before going to bed, I had a really nice HOT bubble bath for about an hour and off i went to sleep. It was nice. Especially when I had a call at 1 am from Piak to tell me that he came back form a flight safely and that he loves me. =)
The flight back home was uneventful. We just read books the whole way to Brunei and we were about 20 minutes early. I like that.
And as for today, I just went to Singapore and back. But it felt long. I wondered why. It was the captain's annual line-check. And there was a royal family on my sector back to Brunei. And at the last bit, I ruined my landing. Will do better next time. Sorry, people.
Having my Off day tomorrow and another Singapore flight the next night.
After Piak's flight from Saigon tonight, we're off to KB!
